Agathi Keerai,-Botanical name - Sesbania grandiflora, Also called  Agasti, Agase, Avise in several Indian languages.

Amaranth - Botanical name - Amaranthus  gangeticus. Also called Notya, Dantu, Math, Thandu keerai, Thotakoora in several Indian languages.

Arai Keerai - Botanical name - Amaranthus tristis. Also called Champanutiya, Chumli, Sirru in several Indian languages.

Botanical name - Basella alba, called climbing spinach, Malabar Spinach, Pui shaak, Bachalle, Basale soppu, Kodipasali, Vaalchi bhaaji, in various Indian languages

Capsicum- called kuda milagai, shimla mirch.

Chana- called chickpeas, garbanzo  beans. In India also called kabuli chana, kala chana, chole, kadale, kothukadalai, sanagalu.
Chana Dal - Botanical Name - Cicer arietinum, Bengal Gram Dal, Cholar Dal, Kadalai Paruppu, Sanaga Pappu.

Chutney dal- called roasted bengal gram, phutana, chola bhaja, hurikadale, potuukadalai, putnala pappu.

Cracked wheat- called samba rava, broken wheat.

Cumin seeds- called jira, jeerage, jeelakarra.
